Our Idea

Our Idea is to prevent the amount of money, time, fuel and infrastructure spent on collecting toll amount on highways and airport toll booths. This will be accomplished by deploying more full time surveillance cameras along the highways and the toll booth part of the airport. We do not aim to remove the checkpoint in airport area as it has a very high importance seccurity wise, but to install which capture the entry time and exit time of the vehicle and bill them accordingly.

We also aim to reduce car theft, speeding and faster catching of criminals by deploying the same algorithm, of number plate recognition to city cameras which would be directly linked with traffic police thereby creating a full networked database of all the cars in the country.

The next would be to integrate out services with the local RTO and transfer all the database to the cloud making it mandatory to have an account with our service.

How It Works - User

Register using your ID

Create an account with us and add details of your car.

  • Use email to login
  • Setup your personal details
  • Validate your government ID proof

Select Your Verification Method

Each car that is entered as the user's own car, needs to be verified first. This is done to prevent forgery.

  • Add your Car
  • Add proof detaisl like - Registration number
  • Visit the nearest police station or have them come to you.

Create your payment option

The main purpose of this project is to reduce time and expenditure of fuel. So we have a wide array of payment options.

  • Pick the billing period from the provided range.
  • Pick preffered method - Digital Payment or Cash.
  • Digital payment will be deducted on each billing cycle.
  • The cash payment needs to be done at designated places

How It Works - Background

Car Number Plate is captured

Camera captures the license plate of the passing vehicles and then is passed for processing to the data center.

  • Car Arrives in front of camera
  • Camera module takes snap of car front or back
  • Saves it in system.

OpenCV comes into play

Detection of number plate and and number written on it will de done using opencv module.

  • Applies various image filters
  • Detects the number plate
  • Using AI module detecting the number on it.

Saves information
